35 weeks, Ice, and Yarn

I'm hoping you read the title and asked yourself what those three things have to do with each other...

Here is the answer: Probably nothing if you live outside of our home.

Maggie and Wyatt are 35 weeks along today! The plan is for her to go off meds and bed-rest next Tuesday and as you can guess - she's a little anxious. We had to go into the labor and delivery triage on Friday night because her contractions were more intense and painful and the meds in her pump weren't active enough. Personally, I swore we were gonna have a baby that night - but, we didn't.

Ice: I'm over it but apparently it's not done with us. In case you're reading this outside of the Mid-West or the East Coast - we've been hit with about an inch of ice with more ice on the way and some snow to go on top of it all. Not fun however, it is allowing me to post this blog update while I'm boycotting the downstairs tv due to a girl movie.

Yarn: My wife knits. I did not know that until last week. However, she's made several nice things for Wyatt and I'm encouraging her to put up an Etsy site. Maybe one day I'll score a hat or a sleep-sack of my own.

I've had some great interviews the past few days and am waiting to hear back about scheduling each of the next rounds. I'm still accepting leads though - so if anyone know of anything feel free to email me!

That's our world for now! And, much like most of yours - we're anticipating warmer weather.

For the record, I'm anticipating the next blog update will be a birth announcement. I think he'll be here much sooner as opposed to later. His mother on the other hand, does not.

Stay warm!

Chris
